Dear Readers,

 

As I sit behind a computer screen, I am plagued with the question: what else can I do? No, I’m not medically inclined or able to assist on the “front lines” at my age and health, but surely there is some stone unturned - some message in a bottle, unread.

I presented this question to my daughter during one of our nightly phone calls, and she responded, “you’re the correlation between those who need help and those who are helpers”.

 

For some reason, I breathed a sigh of relief. In a time of social distancing, maybe I can provide a source for others to meet, connect, and bond. Maybe the space between us is merely physical and our togetherness is, in actuality, stronger in spirit.

With slowdowns and only an essential work force our current issue is delayed and we are awaiting the word that we can go to production.  In the meantime we want to hear from all of you out there.  Stay in touch with us through our social media or email me directly at editor@sdwomanmagazine.com
